SUSTAINABLE CREDIT UNION
Philadelphia University, Spring 2010

Breaking through conventional thoughts toward “green” design, innovation was found by taking a closer look at those places where the natural world coexists within the urban site in North Philadelphia.
In plan, this concept is seen in the diagonal jag of open work space piercing through the uniform
private offices.  The aesthetic is a refined expression of urban graffiti culture.  To embrace the client’s philosophy of environmental responsibility in every investment, green elements were executed throughout.

Highlighted sustainable design features include:
Graywater Recycling System, Indoor Plants for Air Quality, LEED Certified Systems Furniture, SolarGray Glass Cradle to Cradle Certification, Panelite Recycled Contents,Furniture contributing to LEED Points, Availability to natural Lighting.
